Abstract

An article exhaustively covers issues of professional development of civil servants. The main directions of modernization and strengthening the activities of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan have been extensively considered. The article describes measures taken to improve effectiveness of training process and research activities of the Academy. Priority directions for development set forth in the Strategy of Development of the Academy – 2020 are stipulated in the article.
