Modernization Mission of a Modern University

Abstract

This paper analyzes the mission of universities of Kazakhstan, which reflects modern trends of development of higher education . The article emphasizes the role of universities in innovative development of regions and formation of the economy based on knowledge . The authors identify main trends of integration of science, education and business . Modern universities are considered as centers of spiritual modernization of society .
