Abstract

The article substantiates that the effectiveness of state regulation of the economy, in many respects, depends on the value orientations of its institutions, on the beliefs of the political elite. At the same time, the scale of the state’s influence on natural market processes also matters. It is shown that the state should be minimal, but fair, to subtly guide the development of the economy, without violating its internal laws.
