Abstract

The author proves that the convergence of media include the connection of different kinds of broadcast different content: oral, written and audiovisual material that determines the means of mass communication, which relate to converged media - spread mainly through the Internet; It characterizes the functions and features of converged media; He calls the benefits of converged media over traditional media: the low cost of an information product, the amount is not limited to a newspaper page or airtime, extraterritoriality, multimedia; The practical examples of the use of convergent media public organizations and territorial communities.
