The study of motivation of new entrants to the civil service

One of the modern trends in the modernization of the public service is the formation of professional state machinery that involves the introduction of competence-based approach, change the system of remuneration of civil servants and further development of ethical norms and rules of behavior in the office and off-duty time.
Existing legal and regulatory framework aimed at the implementation and regulation of almost all the highlighted aspects. But the prevailing social attitude to the image of the public service is inconsistent, which leads to a decrease of prestige of this professional activity and turnover.
Therefore, quite relevant is the problem of the study the content of the motivational selection of public servants.
The article presents the results of a study of the types of motivation and motivational profile for the new entrantsto the civil service.
