Abstract

The problem of illegal migration in the Central Asian region remains unresolved, and the actions taken by the Kazakh side are often unilaterally incapable of yielding any effective results. An effective solution to the problem of illegal migration is seen in the interaction of all countries participating in migration processes within the framework of such integration associations within the post-Soviet space, such as the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the Eurasian Economic Union.
