The impact of employment field on the evaluation of corruption (based on sociological research)

Abstract

The article is based on research conducted within the grant project of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Sociological dimension of corruption: the methodology of research and the attitude of society to the results of research". The main emphasis in the article is on a different evaluation of the situation with corruption, depending on the sphere of employment of respondents. A higher level of corruption is noted in the traffic police, medical institutions and the judiciary. At the same time, lower scores were obtained from the respondents in their own employment estimates.
