Public councils – international experience

Abstract

In the article, the authors based on a comparative analysis of the functioning of public councils in foreign countries identified the main approaches to the formation of the composition, financing of public councils. Also, a comparative analysis of the purposes and powers of the public councils was carried out within the framework of the public control function. Moreover, the analysis of methods and ways of involving the public in the implementation of the public control function, as well as in decision-making, has been carried out.
