Migration structure and influence on social and economic performances of Astana

Abstract

This article considers the problem of the migration process and assess its impact on social economic indicators of the city (on the example of Astana). Migration flows were analyzed and works on their structuring in the context of social groups were carried out, as well as the factor analysis of the migration causes was conducted. The model of migration impact on social and economic indicators of the city was developed for scenario analysis. Based on the research by the author, in order to address the migration problems it is necessary to improve the migration process of internal migration, develop mechanisms of migration flows control, identify and address the causes of out-migration from regions.
