Analysis of gender equality issues in the Middle East

Abstract

Today, the issue of gender equality is becoming increasingly important. One of the regions in which the problem of gender equality is acute is the Middle East. Therefore, the relevance of studying the state of gender equality in the countries of the Middle East is important in order to identify the main problems of gender equality in this region. The article proposes an analysis of digital media resources regarding the issue of gender equality in the region under study. In addition, the authors provide an analysis of the influence of socio-cultural and religious factors on the development of gender equality in the countries of the Middle East. The problems of discrimination based on gender in the region were analyzed using the PEST analysis toolkit. In the course of the research work, the authors came to reasonable conclusions regarding the issue of gender equality in the countries of the Middle East.
