Formation theoretical foundations of scientific diplomacy as an independent discipline of international relations

Abstract

Scientific diplomacy as an independent scientific discipline appeared relatively recently, just a decade ago. To date, the conceptual and terminological apparatus of scientific diplomacy has not yet been established, blurred, insufficiently systematized and not clearly formulated, since it is at the stage of formation. Therefore, in this article an attempt is made to systematize and develop scientific knowledge in the field of scientific diplomacy, the stages of formation are highlighted, definitions, directions, methods, functions and tools of scientific diplomacy are formulated.
