Abstract

The article sheds light on the problem of political competence in order to provide an effective change management in various spheres of public life. Enhancement contact openness of managerial staff to citizens and mass media and application of new approaches in management on the basis of innovativeness and leadership capacity are the main concepts of political competence of officials. From this perspective, curriculums regardless their specialization should facilitate formation of political competence that allows more effective, applying new political technologies to function in the political space and contribute to raise the level of citizens’ trust to a political-administrative elite.
