Abstract

The author of the article investigates the vital questions of the formation and implementation of state cultural policy. The author examined the main approaches to the definition of cultural policy models. The article investigates the “French”, “American” and “British” cultural policy models. The author defined the principal features and ways of achieving the specified goals of the mentioned cultural policy models. The author noted that the budget cuts in the sphere of culture with active application of attracting off-budget funds mechanisms is a typical tendency of the developed countries. The author pointed out that public-private partnership is a promising mechanism of the formation and implementation of the state cultural policy. The author has made suggestions for the formation and implementation of cultural policy in Ukraine.
