Legal Aspects of Protection from Encroachments on Honor and Dignity in Social Networks

Abstract

This article examines the legal framework for the protection of honor and dignity of the attacks on social networks . The authors emphasize the legal mechanism for the investigation of criminal offenses committed on the Internet . The main problem seems to be the prosecution of a person for an attack on the honor and dignity in the order of private accusation, if the identity of the accused is unknown . According to the authors,the absence of access of the local law enforcement authorities to the personal information of users of social networks, as in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the vast majority of popular social internet – resources are foreign, is also important and very difficult, The authors reveal their own vision of possible solutions to the described legal problems
