Abstract

The article discusses the features of traditional Kazakh ethics and ethical codes, their role in the formation of professional ethics of civil servants. Also on a large historical and legal material analyzed examples of situational etiquette of the Kazakhs, who served as regulators of social behavior. It emphasizes the importance of traditional values that have been formed over the centuries (respect for elders; courtesy that helps to resolve conflicts; sense of duty, etc.) at the heart of the value orientations of the Kazakh people-ethnic identity, expressed by the ideas of patriotism. The author comes to the conclusion that it is possible to raise the level of professional ethics of civil servants if traditional norms and rules are adapted to solve the problems of modern society.
