Labor market in Kazakhstan: trends and problems

The article presents an analysis of the main indicators of the labor market and determines the main trends, including taking into account quarantine measures concerning COVID-19. The correlation of the types of trends in the labor market in the regions of Kazakhstan is carried out: regions with positive trends in the labor market, regions with positive dynamics according to certain indicators with a risk of deterioration of the situation, regions with a negative trend in the labor market are identified. Structural shifts in employment are investigated and their masses are calculated. The presence of polarization of workplaces was revealed. The main conclusions of the study are formulated: the problems of the labor market are updated and appropriate recommendations are proposed.
