Abstract

Currently, work is actively being carried out to implement the project management system in the public sector of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In this article, the control aspects of the project activity of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan are considered and analyzed, its shortcomings and problems, as well as the ways of its solution, are indicated.
The authors considered: the current legislative framework, during which gaps in the field of public administration were identified. On the basis of the analysis, an information model was used to build an operational model of the elements of the control activity, which showed that it did not cover all elements of the methodology of project management of the best world practices.
The authors of the analysis in the form of a rating for the creation of a project management system for the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Based on the analysis, it was also revealed that the control activity of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan needs substantial revision of the legislative base.
