On implementing of project management in public administration

Abstract

The article is devoted to the Kazakhstan experience in the application of project management tools, reflects modern management methods and approaches applied in the state bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The author analyzes recent changes in the implementation of project management in the public administration system, the results of which identified key issues in planning and implementation of projects and programs and suggested ways of solving them using the tools of project management. Approaches and solutions proposed in this article are based, on the one hand, on following the basic provisions of the traditional project management methodology, and on the other on practical experience of participation in project activities of state bodies.
