Increase transparency of public procurement process in terms of digitalization

Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of problems in public procurement by means of competition and ways to solve them. The analysis revealed that in the current system of public procurement due to the lack of automation of competitive procedures is not excluded the possibility of human factor. The absence of a transparent and fair mechanism for competitive selection of potential suppliers creates favourable conditions for corruption, illegal decision-making in the selection of the winner and restriction of fair competition. The article presents proposals to improve the competitive selection of potential suppliers through digitalization of processes, as well as to stimulate and encourage good behavior of participants in public procurement.
