The author of the article compares the military doctrines of the countries participating in the Commonwealth of Independent States. The urgency of the problem of deepening military-political cooperation is conditioned by the common history, the identity of external and internal threats to national security. As a result of a comprehensive analysis, the general and specific provisions of military doctrines of the Commonwealth countries were revealed, and the place and role of military-political cooperation in the foreign policy strategy of each CIS member was analyzed. The influence of internal and external factors on the formation of national approaches to cooperation in the military-political sphere in the CIS space is shown.
