Technologies of social work with older people in the context of transformation of society (on the example of East-Kazakhstan oblast)

Abstract

The life quality of elderly people depends on living conditions, a food, activity, and social communications.
Elderly citizens need the guaranteed ensuring the vital requirements. Social work with elderly people demands introduction of new technologies.
Forms of improvement of domestic conditions of elderly citizens, the organization of their medical and social care, rest and leisure are analyzed in the article. It is necessary to expand a network of non-stationary establishments and services of the social help to aged citizens and disabled people, improvement and introduction of new forms of their service. It is offered to use a foreign experience, in particular, on creation of social houses for lonely elderly citizens and married couples of advanced age.
