Problem Analysis and the Current State of the Public Policy Processes in the Italian Republic on the Basis of the Theory and Practice of Stakeholder Relations

Abstract

The article describes the structure of Italy's modern public administration mechanism and its current problems. The processes of public policy development by Italian elites, as well as its current state have been analyzed; the stakeholder relations between the elites have been evaluated. As an outcome, the algorithms for assessment of a) the public policy development by the administrative bodies of the Italian government, and b) co-operation of the governmental bodies with non­ governmental political and economic actors have been elaborated. The authors also provide practical recommendations for structural improvement of Italy’s national system of public administration and its efficiency that will help to overcome the existing crisis in this sphere.
