Abstract

The article provides a comprehensive analysis of the evolution of political culture in the Republic of Kazakhstan and the current processes of its transformation. The models of authoritarian and democratic political culture are compared, and the mixed nature of Kazakhstan’s political culture is scientifically substantiated. In addition, the interrelation between globalization, mass culture, and national identity is examined. The paper also considers the level of political activity of the electorate in modern Kazakhstan, the role of civil society institutions, and attitudes toward the President’s political reforms
