Abstract

The article discusses the international experience of the use and development of online platforms, including crowdsourcing as a modern new way of attracting citizens to decision-making in the public administration system. The authors, using the examples of Australia, Iceland, Taiwan, South Korea, the European Union, Finland, Russia, the USA, Great Britain, Latvia, and Estonia, have shown the practical implementation and effectiveness of crowdsourcing technology. In addition, attention is drawn to the main types of crowdsourcing, its features and ways of conducting in each country, as well as to the institution of an online petition. It is concluded that power through attracting citizens to the decision-making process can receive a number of alternative solutions and increase the responsibility of the population in the perception of political decisions.
