Abstract

This article being considered the state regulation of migration processes in the Republic of Kazakhstan, assesses the current trends in the country's migration policy, taking into account global challenges, and explores the intellectual migration of the population. Based on the analysis of strategic and program documents, normative legal acts, the results of expert interviews and questionnaires, recommendations on the modernization of migration policy were developed taking into account the development of the country's intellectual potential.
The article was prepared within the framework of the grant financing of scientific research of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2018–2020 project №AR05136246 «Modernization of the migration policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the context of the development of the intellectual potential of the country».
