The article is devoted to establishing the circumstances, subject to proof by examining the role and importance of the offender, which is reflected in the mechanism of identifying signs of criminal activity the subject of criminal activity. The offender is seen as determining the conditions and circumstances of the crime of concealment of crime, the investigation of which helps to reveal the cause-effect relationship of a crime.
