General duties and responsibility of Reviewers:
- A reviewer undertakes to voluntarily review only those manuscripts that correspond to his/her field of scientific and professional interests within the period established by the Editor.
- A reviewer contributes to the decision-making process and supports improving the quality of the article being published by objective and timely review of the manuscript while refraining from making hostile or inflammatory statements or defamatory or derogatory comments. A reviewer shall express his/her views in a clear and constructive manner, enforcing the statements with arguments and, if necessary, links.
- A reviewer shall keep confidential any information provided by authors or editors, not discuss the unpublished material with third persons, and not use the information contained for private purposes.
- A reviewer shall inform of any possible conflicts of interest.
- A reviewer shall not allow the influence of the manuscript’s origin, the authors’ ethnicity, religion, political or other views, or commercial concerns on the review’s content.
- A reviewer shall immediately inform the editorial office of any errors in the manuscript, plagiarism (similarity to another document), or unfair behavior of the author.
