Abstract

The issues of saving institutional memories within the governmental bodies by implementing the institution of supervisors are arising. The attention is centered on forwarding open and latent organizational knowledge to newly employed officials along with long term working officials whose qualification needs to be improved. The analysis of the foreign experience gave an opportunity to clear up the reason of negative supervision results and the ways for their improvement. It is stated that the results of mentorship process depend on the number of internees per one mentor, the term of mentorship and motivation of the persons involved in the process. Implementation of the incentive system both of material and non-material character will strengthen the institution of mentorship and provide saving the institutional memory in the governmental bodies.
