Geopolitical Analysis of International Unions and Alliances: Historical Aspect

Abstract

Geopolitical analysis methods make it possible to comprehend the whole era of the historical development of the countries and peoples. The aim of this work is the use of the potentialities of geopolitical analysis for the study of modern integration processes and associations on the example of geopolitical analysis of interstate unions and inter-state kontrunion in historical perspective.
The paper substantiates the appropriateness and effectiveness of the use of methods of geopolitical analysis to identify a number of factors affecting the active reserves of the state in achieving the goals of national interests. Geopolitical analysis pays attention to the incorporation not only results, but also unrealized territorial intentions inherent in a particular country.
Versatility geopolitical tensions raises the problem of alliances and inter-state kontrunion. In an effort to realize the territorial expansion, any country inevitably forced to enter into an alliance with another or other countries for the implementation of its claims. Actualizes this subject peculiar to our time extension information zones in which the appearance of such a simple and visual methodologies - a necessity, since otherwise people at risk of permanently losing any landmarks in the broad and multi-dimensional chaotic flow of heterogeneous knowledge.
