Transparency and openness of Parliament’s activities

The article deals with the questions of transparency and openness of the country’s highest legislative body, the Parliament, as an integral part of a developed democratic society. The author covers the basic aspects of the interaction of the Parliament, the media, civil society institutions. Based on a comparative analysis of international and national experience, are the results of opening up in the legislature of many countries. The author argues that the existence of a legal framework, a policy on the implementation of the principle of openness and transparency of the activities of State bodies provide a good basis for the development of a national dialogue and the participation of civil society in the governance of the country.
