IT-technologies in anti-corruption: success factors and risks of failure

The article reveals the role of IT technology in anti-corruption, which is one of the main objectives of national security of a state. Success factors and risks of failure of electronic governments and IT tools in terms of eradicating corruption are disclosed. Examples of successful international experience in the use of media and IT technology to strengthen the anti-corruption culture of society were analyzed. Also, the experience of the Republic of Kazakhstan in implementation of IT-technology in the process of providing public services and support of business entities, which helps to reduce corruption risks, is described. In general, the article comprehensively examines the factors affecting the results of the implementation of information technology to combat corruption.
