Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • Before submitting the article, the editorial board asks the authors to read the Information for Authors and Publication Ethics.

Author Guidelines

COMMON REQUIREMENTS FOR THE CONSIDERATION, APPROVAL, AND REJECTION OF ARTICLES

  1. Only original articles not published before in other editions are subject to publication.
  2. Each article passes peer review in the manner specified by these Regulations.
  3. Articles accepted for consideration if they meet the requirements/guidelines posted on the Internet site of the Academy and published in each issue of the Journal.
  4. Manuscripts that do not meet the requirements laid down in this Regulation are not registered and are not allowed for further consideration, with notification of their authors.

The grounds for a reasoned refusal to publish an article may include:
- inconsistency of the submitted paper with the topics of the Journal;
- non-compliance with the requirements for papers submitted for publication;
- negative review of the paper presented;
- identification of the fact of plagiarism or other forms of illegal borrowing;
- non-compliance by the author of the paper of the current legislation on copyright and related rights;
- refusal to finalize the text in accordance with the comments of the reviewer, etc.
The Journal also does not publish:
- copyrighted materials previously published in other publications;
- articles that do not contain new information, in comparison with previously published results, or contain factual, historical, or other errors that cannot be corrected, as well as articles containing statements and hypotheses that directly contradict established scientific facts;
- literary, artistic, and journalistic works of any content, including on a scientific topic;
- materials containing insults, defamation, or knowingly false information in relation to individuals and legal entities.

REQUIREMENTS FOR PAPERS:

  1. Articles representing the results of the original author’s research, set out in a scientific style, corresponding to the scientific, thematic areas of the Journal, and inscribed in the context of modern domestic and foreign studies on this topic are accepted for consideration.
  2. Scientific articles and reviews submitted to the editorial office should not be published or intended for publication in another publication.
  3. The article must meet the following criteria:

- the relevance of the work and compliance with the priority scientific areas of the Journal (importance, applicability of ideas, methods, technologies described in the article);
- scientific novelty (originality of the idea, solution of the research tasks);
- structuredness (consistency, coherence of presentation);
- the significance of the main research results (statement of results, theoretical and practical significance, conclusions, scientific and practical value);
- the literary level of the manuscript (communicative value, compliance with the scientific style, linguistic and stylistic norms);
- the quality of design: compliance with the requirements of the publisher, the use of terminological vocabulary, keywords, the presence of annotations in three (Kazakh, Russian, English) languages, references;
- compliance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including the protection of intellectual property.

  1. The article should reflect:

- statement of the problem in general terms and its relationship with important scientific or practical tasks;

- analysis of recent studies and publications in which a solution to this problem has been started and to which the author refers, highlighting previously unresolved parts of the general problem to which the indicated article is devoted;
- the formation of the objectives of the article (task setting);
- presentation of the main research object with a complete justification of the obtained scientific results;

- conclusions from this study and the prospects for further research in this direction.

  1. Structure of the manuscript:

       UDC и CICSTI
The manuscript of the article must contain the UDC (Universal decimal code) identifier and the CICSTI (Code of International Categories Scientific and Technical Information), which are located on the left above the title of the article.
       Title
The title of the article should be short, but informative, and should not contain abbreviations. The title of the article should be indicated in Kazakh, Russian, and English and (bold, size of 16 points) is separated from the abstract by one empty line.
       Names and initials of authors, affiliations
Information about the author (s) is placed in a separate file with the typical name “author_xxxxxxxx”, where xxxxxxxx is the first eight letters of the surname of the author (the first of the co-authors) in Latin transliteration.
Violation of this requirement complicates the coding process and delays peer review, therefore articles in which information about the author is not separated from the main text can be rejected (sent for revision) at the registration stage.
The personal information of the author should be indicated by a comma, placing them in front of the title of the article in the following sequence: first name, middle name, last name, academic degree, academic rank, position, organization (translated, officially accepted name of the organization with the indication of the department), country, e-mail, ORCID/Scopus ID/ResearcherID (if any), and contact details. 
Information about the authors is given in three languages (Kazakh, English, and Russian) and is shown in italics and names in bold. Blocks of information about each of the co-authors of the article are separated from each other by a semicolon.
       Abstract
Abstract (100–250 words) is given after the article title in Kazakh, Russian and English languages, starting with the language of the written article. Annotations like structure built structure articles (brief justification of problems, materials and methods, results and discussion).
       Keywords
To identify the subjects under which the article may be indexed, 5-7 keywords should be provided.
       Introduction
It should describe the general theme of the research, its objectives, problems, theoretical and practical significance, and relevance.
       Materials and methods
A description of the methods and materials used in the study, including methods for collecting, processing, and analyzing data.
       Results (classification)
A description and interpretation of the experimental or theoretical results (data).
       Discussion and conclusions
The main directions of further research and recommendations in this area are determined by the formulation of conclusions, assumptions about the obtained facts, and comparison results with those from other studies.
       Reference to the source of funding (if any)
       References
In articles written in Kazakh or Russian, the list of references should have the standard subheading «Әдебиеттер тізімі» / «Список литературы», in articles in the English language “References”.

For in-text citations please indicate references by number(s) in square brackets in line with the text in accordance with GOST 7.1-2003 "Bibliographic record. Bibliographic description. General requirements and rules", adopted by the Interstate Council for Standardization, Metrology and Certification (Minutes No. 12 of July 2, 2003).

All sources in the Kazakh and Russian languages should be accompanied by transliteration into the Latin alphabet and translation into English.
The lack of references in the submitted manuscript can be a reason for the rejection of the article.

  1. The text of an article of at least 28,000 printed characters (with spaces and footnotes), is provided in Kazakh, Russian, or English in electronic form (documents are accepted in doc, docx, or rtf formats) subject to the following parameters:

- Arial font, font size of the main text - 11 pt, drawings, diagrams - 10 pt, line spacing - single;
- the left margin is 2,25 cm, the right margin is 2,25 cm, and the upper and lower margins are 2 cm;
- tabular footnotes are located under the table, footnotes (asterisks) in the text are placed at the bottom of the corresponding page;
- References to literature in the form of footnotes at the bottom of the page are not allowed.

  1. The article should not contain appendices (exceptionally allowed in an amount not exceeding 1 page with parameters similar to the main text of the article).
  2. The quality of illustrations should be at least 300 dpi. All figures, diagrams, tables, and other illustrative information are placed inside a text file. Signatures of coordinate axes, diagram segments, and other textual elements of illustrations are drawn up using the Arial font only. If other fonts are used, the illustration will not be published.
  3. The content of the article sent to the Journal, all digital data and information must be carefully verified by the authors.
  4. The text must comply with the stylistic, spelling, and syntactic norms of the corresponding language (Kazakh, Russian, or English). Poor text quality may be the reason for rejecting the article to publish.
  5. The authors are strongly recommended to ensure that the order of authors is correct. No changes to authorship are allowed after the manuscript is accepted for publication.
  6. All submitted manuscripts are checked using specialized plagiarism detection software StrikePlagiarism to ensure the quality of the materials published and copyright compliance, articles with the original text of at least 80% are allowed for publication.
  7. The Journal owner and editorial board are not liable for the accuracy of information provided by the research authors.
  8. Submitting the manuscript to the Journal, the author (authoring team) accepts personal responsibility for the originality of the research, the accuracy and correctness of the provided data, facts, citations, proper names, geographical names, surnames, initials, and other details, and the inclusion in the article of information not subject to open publication, and instructs the Journal owner to publish the work in print.
  9. Submitting the manuscript to the Journal, the author guarantees the correctness of all information about him/herself, the absence in the manuscript of plagiarism and other forms of unlawful borrowing, and the proper design of all borrowed text, tables, diagrams, and illustrations.
  10. The author guarantees that he/she possesses exclusive rights to use the materials submitted to the Journal. In case of any claims to the Journal owner or the editorial board due to a violation of this guarantee and representation, the author shall settle all claims independently and at his/her own expense. The owner of the Journal and the editorial board are not liable to third parties for violating these guarantees by the author.
  11. Submission of a manuscript to the Journal means the author's consent with the above requirements.
  12. A reference to the Journal is required when reprinting the materials.
  13. Non-compliance with the submitted material with all the above-mentioned formal requirements may cause its rejection at the registration stage.
  14. The decision to publish the article is made by the editorial board. Editorial corrections or reductions may be made to the text of the article without the consent of the author.

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
